Nov 2020 – Kids Dig Science at Science in the City

Science in the City is proud to present an extraordinary show about Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

This puppet show, brought to you by the Malta Chamber of Scientists with the help of the VOPs programme brings three famous women scientists to life, literally. Marie Curie, whose work today helps us fight cancer, Margaret Hamilton who was instrumental in getting Neil Armstrong to the moon and Rosalind Franklin who gave us our first glimpse into the microscopic world of the DNA strand. These women fought the odds and made it to the very top of their professions. Along with our puppets these inspirational women will help our kids understand the true meaning of ‘where there is a will there’s a way’. Girls and boys have the ability to do whatever they set their minds to.
