The Malta Chamber of Scientists (MCS) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for Council Members for the 2026–2028 term.

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our leadership team and help steer the direction of science in Malta. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to science policy, public engagement, and the professional development of our local scientific community.

Annual General Meeting (AGM): Wednesday, 11th March 2026

Council Positions Available
We are seeking nominations for the following eight roles, each vital to the Chamber’s mission:

• President: Leading strategic direction and acting as the legal representative.
• Secretary: Coordinating public engagement and project management.
• Treasurer: Overseeing budgets and financial reporting.
• Registrar: Managing membership applications and student coordination.
• Science Policy Officer: Advocacy for scientists and public policy initiatives.
• Public Relations Officer: Managing media presence and scientific news.
• Student Affairs Officer: Representing the voice of the next generation.
• Members & Benefits Officer: Developing initiatives to enhance member value.

Save the Date: AGM
All members are encouraged to attend our Annual General Meeting on the 11th of March. This meeting will serve as the platform for electing the new council and discussing the Chamber’s roadmap for the coming years.
