Science in the City 2016: Call for Proposals

Science in the City—European Researchers’ Night is Malta’s arts and science festival. We offer a fantastic opportunity for educators, students, scientists and artists to collaborate and get creative. We are a platform for art installations, exhibitions, music, theatre, and performing arts that engage the public with science. We’re looking forward to your participation. Our theme this year is The Brain. Proposals and participation outside this theme will be considered on a case-by-case basis (please get in touch before submission).

Important Dates

*Deadline extended to 29 February 2016*

Deadline for proposal submission is by midnight 18 February 2016. An information session to discuss ideas and brainstorm projects will be held on the 5 February, 6.30pm, GWHB1 (Gateway Builing, Hall B1), University of Malta. The festival will take place on the night of the 30 September 2015. The events should preferably be available for Notte Bianca 2016 the following day.

Ways to participate?

Project Proposals that can include a range of art/science events from performances to plays and installations.

Participation in existing project ideas: artists, curators, musicians, performers, students, researchers and others are needed.
